Job Description
MBV is seeking a Compliance Officer for a newly established position within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, fire prevention and firefighting, chemical management, and ISO management systems within the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations on occupational health and safety (OHS), environmental protection, chemical management, and fire prevention and firefighting (PCCC).
- Monitor, review, and update internal policies, procedures, and compliance practices.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO management systems.
- Conduct compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain related records and documentation.
- Deliver training programs and raise awareness regarding compliance, EHS, and ISO requirements.
- Support regulatory inspections and work with authorities when necessary.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or higher in Environmental Engineering, Food Technology, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Compliance, EHS, or ISO management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety regulations, fire prevention and firefighting requirements, environmental regulations, and chemical management.
- Hands-on experience working with ISO management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- English communication skills are preferred.
